Hi! I’m Dana Oleskiewicz……a faithful Christian dedicated to science integrity while exploring God’s creation through an understanding of biology with an expertise in aquatic ecosystems.  Thanks for stopping by.

Professionally:  Dana is self-employed in the environmental field focused on surface water protection.  She has 30 years of experience in science education and has a passion for citizen science in monitoring freshwater resources.  Dana received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Secondary Education and an M.S. in Aquatic Ecology, with an emphasis on paleolimnology, both from Kent State University.  Career accomplishments include publications, invitations to present nationally, successful grantseeking, and professional awards.  Her area of specialization is in nonprofit organizational development, collaborative decision making, environmental education, and lake ecosystems.
